That’s the vision that drives a lot of what we do as a church.
Jesus’ last command was to make disciples of all nations. We believe that everyone is called to be a minister and engage in the life-changing work of spreading the gospel to the ends of the earth.
The vehicle for doing so? Living out the Acts 2 church. We value God’s Word above all else and strive to live it out daily. From gathering together in the mornings for devotional time, meeting throughout the week for Bible studies, and reaching others for the kingdom, we believe that an Acts 2 community enables us to mobilize more workers for God’s kingdom.
Axiom started in 2021 when mentors from Acts2 Network moved to Charlottesville to start a gospel community at the University of Virginia.
Tim and Lydia lead Axiom College Church and have served at churches at Berkeley, Los Angeles, Seattle, Stony Brook and New York City. Now they’re bringing their heart for the next generation to Charlottesville!
Postgrad Mentors
By day, they are accountants, programmers, project managers, etc. But they all have stories of how their college days transformed them. And their common passion is to invite the next generation of college students to experience that same transformation through Jesus in their lives.
